Welcome to Waxhaw Home Finds (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing or using our website, you agree to these terms.
1. Agreement to Terms
By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not access our website or services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services or have parental consent if under 18.
3. Services Provided
Waxhaw Home Finds offers consignment services, resale products, and additional services (e.g., pickups, advanced cleaning, and storage).

All items listed for consignment must meet our minimum resale value of $30.

Approved consignment items are subject to review, cleaning, photographing, and marketing as described in our 5-Step Process.

By submitting your items for consignment, you grant us permission to determine pricing and manage listings.
4. Pricing Plans and Fees
Our pricing plans include Free, Pro, and Premium options. Fees for additional services (pickup, rush listings, cleaning, etc.) are clearly stated on our Pricing Page.
Note: Fees for services are non-refundable.
5. Payment and Commissions

You will receive a payout for sold items at the end of each month, minus our commission.

Sales reports will be provided upon request for transparency.

Payments will be made via your preferred method, as agreed during the consignment process.
6. Return Policy
All Sales Are Final.

Returns are not accepted unless otherwise explicitly stated in the product listing.

If a product listing specifies return eligibility, you must contact us at waxhawhomefinds@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery to initiate the process.

Eligible returns must meet the following conditions:

Items must be in their original condition and returned with all packaging materials.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

Note: Returns are strictly at our discretion and apply only in exceptional cases.
7. Storage Policy
Waxhaw Home Finds offers short-term storage as part of our consignment service. The following terms apply to stored items:
7.1 Storage Duration

Free Plan: Items stored for up to 30 days free of charge.

Pro Plan: Items stored for up to 60 days free of charge.

Premium Plan: Items stored for up to 90 days free of charge.
After the free storage period ends, the following weekly fees apply:

Small items (up to 2 sq ft): $5/week

Medium items (up to 4 sq ft): $10/week

Large items (up to 9 sq ft): $20/week

7.2 Oversized Items
Items exceeding 9 sq ft require approval and may incur custom storage fees.

7.3 Abandoned Items
If an item is unclaimed or unsold after 120 days, Waxhaw Home Finds reserves the right to:

Donate the item to charity.

Dispose of the item responsibly.

Resell the item to cover incurred storage fees.

7.4 Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for tracking their consigned items and collecting any unsold items before the 120-day period expires to avoid additional fees or loss of ownership.
8. Pickup and Storage Services

Pickup services are available based on your selected pricing plan.

Storage fees, as outlined in Section 7, apply to items held beyond the free storage period.

Items left abandoned for more than 120 days may be donated or resold at our discretion.
9. Limitation of Liability
Waxhaw Home Finds is not liable for:

Any loss, theft, or damage to items during transit, cleaning, storage, or sale.

Errors or omissions in product listings.

Buyers are responsible for reviewing all photos, descriptions, and details before purchasing.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Waxhaw Home Finds, its team, and affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, consigned items, or website violations.
11. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if terms are violated or at our sole discretion.
12. Change to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
